We are pleased to announce the conclusion of a Business and Technological Consulting Agreement with the Centrale d’Approvisionnement et de Distribution des Médicaments Essentiels de Kananga (CADIMEK), under which XTRM Group will provide business and technological consulting services to CADIMEK (the Client) for an initial period of five (5) years, renewable.
Based in Kananga, CADIMEK is a non-profit organization operating within the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)’s National Essential Medicines Supply System, with a mission to ensure the regular and sustainable supply of quality generic essential medicines and other pharmaceutical products to healthcare facilities and populations within its area of operation. Its activities include procurement, pharmaceutical storage and stock management, and distribution to healthcare facilities, with the broader objective of improving access to quality and affordable essential medicines across 26 health zones in the Kasaï Central province.
Against this operational background, the partnership with XTRM Group is intended to support CADIMEK in strengthening its institutional and business management capabilities, improving operational processes, advancing the effective use of technology, and enhancing the systems that support its procurement, inventory management, logistics, distribution, and organizational coordination activities. Through strategic business guidance and technological consulting, the engagement will seek to help CADIMEK improve efficiency, strengthen its internal capacities, adapt to evolving operational demands, and build a more resilient and sustainable organizational framework. Ultimately, the impact of this collaboration is expected to extend beyond institutional development: by supporting the systems and processes that enable the reliable movement and management of essential medicines, the partnership aims to contribute to CADIMEK’s capacity to better serve healthcare facilities and the communities that depend on them throughout Kasaï Central.
